Description

Block Dashboard lets you make realtime configuration changes of your ROLI blocks without the need of a computer. Features: - Support ROLI Lightpad Block M, ROLI Lightpad Block and ROLI Seaboard block - Support multi connected devices at the same - Run in parallel with other music applications (lets you control the settings of your blocks while playing software synths) - Support MPE/Single/Multi mode - Support changes of midi channel - Support configuration of the sensitivity of each dimension (strike, press, glide, slide, lift) - Support Scale and Chord modes - For ROLI Lightpad block only: support loading of the default littlefoot note program, choice of the block mode (5x5, 4x4, 3x3, 2x2 grid). Note: It does not currently support presets. Closing the application will reset to default parameters.

    Im sitting here with and iphone se (2022) and a gen 1 lightpad. the settings change and stay changed when i close the app I had some issues 2yrs ago on my XS, maybe it’s different or maybe i just know more now Would be cool to have studio features but it’s enough just to put it in single channel mode

    I love my ROLI collection but it’s such a pain to have to plug in to a computer to adjust parameters to fit my mobile music making. Already I’ve been able to easily adapt my blocks to the parameters of my current project and it was super simple!

    I love what it is supposed to do. The problem is that I can hardly get it to respond to changes in the app. The app has very little help notes. I’m never sure if I am changing things or not. I will love it when it becomes a functional and intuitive app. The fact that it’s supposed to help change settings _ but doesn’t _ makes me more frustrated than never having used the app.

    This app is exactly what Roli should have made for iOS when it launched its Bluetooth controllers. It fills the glaring gaps in Roli’s own iOS app so that users can actually use, edit, and manage all settings not accessible on Roli’s apps. The developer is extremely responsive, highly skilled, and a nice chap, to boot. If you have a Block, and plan to use it on iOS, you need this.

    Roli should have included an app with this function, but since they didn’t we have this app to fill the gap. It does what it says. Sometimes I need to switch up the way my Roli Seaboard works on different channels. Without this app, I would have to connect to a computer, which I don’t always have.
