  • I already bought the game but now it wants me to buy again?

I reinstalled and now it’s telling me to buy the game again. That seems like a rip off. So I bought Slay the Spire instead of repurchasing this, and I’m having way more fun.
  • Crashes on launch

I guess I shouldn't have updated; the app info claims this supports iOS 9.0 and up, but after updating the app it crashes on launch on my iOS 10 device.
  • Good game but locked already-paid-for content

This is a good game but I shouldn’t have to buy it twice. I paid for it when I initially downloaded it in May, 2019. I enjoyed it, including experimenting with all of the classes. Now I tried to return in January, 2021, only to discover that almost all of the classes are now locked behind an in-app purchase. I get giving a taste for free and asking to pay to unlock the full game, but those of us who owned the game before the switch should have credit for the in-app purchase. (And yes, the restore button does nothing.) This would be a five-star game without this issue.
  • Broken By Update

I’m not sure what the new update did because it broke my game. Now all content is locked again and I can’t restore my purchases.

Have been playing on and off for almost a year. I absolutely love this game and wish they would have some updates or new classes/races. I’d definitely pay to unlock those. I got the most usability for my buck out of this game. Highly recommend if you are into these type of card games as it’s the best one out there. (Similar to night of the full moon with more sepia/artsy graphics versus full moon being more modern looking)

  • Fun Rouge / Dungeon Style Game

Positives 1. You get your money’s worth 2. Fun and at times addictive 3. Well thought out & put together for a simple Rouge / Dungeon Style Game Negatives 1. Need Landscape Mode, especially when you have a lot of cards (swiping left to right to get to a specific card led to too many FAT FINGER mistakes!!) 2. Really poor documentation to get player up to speed; learning curve was unnecessarily too steep 3. Only one save file. Seriously?! You can’t create five (5) separate game files in case I want to switch Classes, etc. How about one save file per class. 4. One “default” mode: I miss the days of at least 5 different levels from Easy to “Nearly Impossible” Fix the negatives and I will gift the game to my friends. Nice simple game that takes about a few minutes (if you die fast) to a few hours to kill the last Boss Mob. Thanks for the game.
  • I guess the update wasn’t a good idea

The game used to be enjoyable til the update came and now I’m getting destroyed within the first couple fights. It’s not that I’m not reading my cards and strategizing as I play but it seems almost as if the game is deliberately not giving me good cards. I can’t use cards that are hitting 1 or 2 and the boss has like 55 hp. It’s just not efficient. If the next update improves the game, the rating will change. It’s a good for sure but I’m just not enjoying what’s happened to it. And for the people complaining about price, it’s worth it. Just let the dev(s) just tweak a few things it’ll be as good as gold.
  • One of the best - until latest update

Fantastic card game, quick to play with interesting options and approaches with a lot of replayability both within and across classes and elemental choices. But latest update has turned it into a slog and what was once challenging has become frustrating and discouraging. Used to be a lot of fun to play but no more. Hopefully next update will be an improvement instead of a regression.
  • Confusing, but clean

The game starts off very intimidating. You’re not given any sort of useful descriptions or direction on how to build a class, and frankly some of the enemies are BS with sub-optimal builds. However, the game is very clean, interesting, and exciting, but not very special to the other options
