  • They only care about your $$$

For a few months now, I have been denied the ability of a big aspect of this game…and it is cascading. When I report it, all I get is a template, “Thank you for letting us know. We understand the inconvenience. We will tell our developers. Feel free to message us.” And then close the conversation…I give them a couple of weeks, reopen another “ticket” to get an update and I get the same response. FOR MONTHS! I don’t spend as much as some but more than I should and if any other business was ran this way, they would be out of business.
  • Agreement With Many

Apparently this is a common problem with this games - Bullying by whales. Issue in our server. The leader of the bully alliance has admitted he wants to force smaller players out and reducing numbers, thereby forcing Scopely into another merge situation. Makes sense if you are a big spender, but most of us like the game, but not ready to sink thousands into the game. Suggested Fixes: Recommend anyone who does not have a big wallet, don’t bother - you will be targeted. After reaching a certain level, force them into their own server(s). They can still join cross-server wars, but then they go away. Open a new server and publish an offer for people under 45 or so can join. Maybe even ones for 35 and lower. Make it easier for people to leave servers. You have some terrific people playing the game and you have arrogant snakes playing as well. Doubtful anyone will read this, but I hope you do and digest it.
  • Looking for some MAGA Hate Speech?

Ironically, this game is filled with right-wing players who love to complain about everything that Star Trek stands for. If you're looking for your daily dose of crazy MAGA Hate Speech, this is the game for you.
  • Decent Game but NOT Free

The game is decent, but you have to pay for upgrades or you won’t have any fun. The game encourages bullying behavior from people who put a lot of money into it. if you have a lot of cash and time you could be competitive. The developer doesn’t do a lot of quality control and doesn’t listen to their customer feedback.
  • Update: Cash Grab by Scopley ruins play

Have enjoyed game but recent updates, beside the normal buggy release, have ruined the experience for many. The money whales prey on those that do not wish to participate and spend 1000s of dollars. Scopley needs to offer some protection for those casual players trying to live under the current economic crisis instead of gameflation.
  • Do no bother/ do not allow your kids to play!

The game was fun but is more like a full time job. Slow progress for free to play player. Caters to spenders. And scopley has a blanket response to everything they dont care because they rake in the money. Game is always glitchy. I suggest you go and spend your money on playstation. **also not appropriate for minors! Very sexually graffic. And rude you name it. You have been warned!! it’s been a year too since this post and I check in once in a while to the chat and this post still stands it says 12+ player levels and I remain steadfast. I have never seen the level of cyber bullying, nasty filthy, disgusting, innuendos, and name-calling. I’ve never seen a content creating business that allows us to happen like scopely and they’re affiliates. It’s downright criminal. If you ask me once again do not let your children play this game. I would not even advise it for adults.
  • Illogically Unbalanced Gameplay with Overpriced In-game Packages

Updated review: the latest Scopely update 04/2024 forces PvP 4/7 days per week. For those who’ve invested time and money over the years, a good chunk have said, “no more,” following this update. Unless Scopely balances the gameplay and slows on the additions to the game, it will become a monster that is unplayable for newbies and casual players without a bank loan. My review from 4 years ago remains a fact of play. See below. Once you achieve a certain level, the average person who plays this game as an escape outlet will not find any meaningful in- game packages for less than $50. The game is fun, but these elements, and Scopely’s refusal to effectively address the issues I listed, makes the game frustrating to the point people leave in droves; however, if Scopely can milk these people out of $80 (about the cost most realize they’ve been had), Scopely has done its job. I would not recommend unless you enjoy investing heavily in virtual commodities and becoming so frustrated at times because all you’ve worked towards (and paid for with real money) can be taken from you in a matter of minutes. There are no guarantees in life, but heed this warning. This game is guaranteed to frustrate you due to the illogical game play and greedy developers. I’ll gladly update my review and score if I see any significant game changes that allow more balanced gameplay.
  • Was enjoyable, not now

Was a free to play then started buying a little bit, monthly passes mostly. Now if you don’t spend a house payment or more a month then don’t bother. No chance for growth after the last update. Many players have left including ones that have spent a fair amount of cash.
  • The trash that they allow to be said

Server 93 dumpster fire. The unchecked trash that is allowed in gc and in dms has taken the game from fun to almost unplayable. I know there is a mute button, and it’s being used, but names of players being changed to the homophobic slurs they were sending into my dms doesn’t really shield anything. Scopely has said they are “investigating”, 🤣🤣🤣. They have hundreds of screenshots, and not just from me. Some of the stuff was really vile. I’ve got some friends here, only reason I’m staying as of now. I won’t spend anymore while they allow them to stay and keep up with what they are doing. Another player has said things about raping my wife, but that’s just fine because he is the top player and spends more than anyone. I just went through the reviews amd he is talked about several times. I don’t understand how this is allowed for either of these players to be allowed to keep going. Scopely doesn’t even chat ban them. They do chat ban people for reaction to this player. The special treatment they receive is ridiculous. The game used to be enjoyable. Way to be decent scopely. Supporting homophobia and apparantly sexual harassment and assault are right up scopelys ally. 👍
  • Game Over/5 star trash

The company that runs this game is all about greed and doesn’t care about fair play. Recently they’ve introduced changes that have the chilling effect of purging many lower level players from the game. The reality is that if you aren’t willing to spend unreasonable amounts of money (for impermanent pixels basically) then you’ll just struggle against the tide. This game is hogging 12 Gb of space on my device and the programming is very bad with more glitches and crashes than ever before. What’s left are high level players with money to burn and as people stop playing, more servers will merge and a year from now this game will be unrecognizable. What a nasty trick Scopely! Shame on you! I’m beginning to regret giving them any of my money and I’m currently searching for a game that is more deserving of my patronage.
