This would be a great game if it wasn’t such a money pit. Seriously, you would get more people to play and stay if you didn’t try to gauge so much.
  • Full of JERKS!

This is a fun game WHEN you can actually play it. Biggest problem is that the game is full of jerks that bully & pick on lower level people. It is very hard to enjoy or even get to Trekkie content because of this constant “picked on” environment. I wish the devs would realize this and segment or structure out brackets or something....but you know, it’s all about the $$$
  • You don’t have to pay to win

This game will provide weeks of entertainment without having to spend a dime. Though you’re going to want to anyways because you’re investments not really lost when defeated like in other games.
  • Seriously unbalanced

Starts off fun but quickly goes down hill. Higher level players dominate resources. It’s hard to get resources between the scarcity of what you receive even after mining large amounts if you are lucky as their are higher level players whose soul purpose is to smash lower level players. The game gives goals that are impossible to complete. Example; I have to destroy 15 level 23 ships whose power is in the 40k plus power level but I am only level 19 ships barely 20k power level, the ships far outclass me by a ridiculous amount. Also the amount of uncommon resources required is ridiculous for the amount you can find farming if you are lucky to live long enough. You are trying to force players to pay-to-win and that’s a crappy business model. If you haven’t learned people are getting tired of these type of games.

I will not be recommending this game. The game is like every other app that advertises itself as MMO. Hard to advance in game when every time you try to mine resources someone bigger comes along and destroys your ship and takes the cargo you worked to obtain.
  • ScopelyIsGreedy and thin skinned

The title says it all. I changed my name to ScopelyIsGreedy ingame and the devs banned me for one day. Ha. The prices are absolutely ridiculous, you can easily spend thousands leveling up ONE ship. Scopely floods the expensive (99$) packs with useless 2* materials in an obvious attempt to make you think you’re getting more for your money. Even specific 3* ship packs (d3, legionary, mayflower etc.) contain thousands of 2* materials that are useless. They haven’t even finished the game, there is no content past level39, even though the game goes to Level 50. Good luck getting there within five years if you don’t spend a small fortune though. This is the most pay to win game in the store, by far. So unless you want to spend thousands, minimum, stay away.
  • It’s just another play to win

Scoplay is more interested in money than making a game that everyone can enjoy. If you don’t mind getting pounded on the players with the most money just because they can then this is the game for you. If you want something more enjoyable then getting bashed around the galaxy or having to spend thousands of dollars (literally) to just survive, then this is not the game for you.
  • To boldly get destroyed and lose all your resources

The game is pretty much a space version of Rise of Kingdoms but without common sense. You cannot switch up the bridge crew with others on board the ship unless docked, which could be 5-15m away at most times. You cannot survive past level 15 unless you spend a lot of money or somehow grind months of work to mine the highest level stuff at level 14 (which requires faction allegiance or you get attacked by NPCS). After L15, you get PVP’d off your mines and there is no cap- meaning a L30 can just take your mine away which will take you hours to wait for one to open, and if you beat someone out, they will just destroy you and take it and grief you. Expect to pay hundreds just to be able to get into a decent alliance to help you. Expect to pay thousands to get to a respectable level as everyone else since there are no server choices, you get placed onto servers with experienced players, and there is no server switching if you want to try different groups. Case in point - I’m stuck with egotistical Canadians who have power mongering space courts to arbitrate issues and enforce their power. It’s all a power trip if you have a couple thousand dollars to waste. Other common sense things are like unable to stop in mid warp, or “drop out of warp” to change your strategy or mind, thus causing ton of lost time. And combat is lame - it’s literally just click and attack and watch a canned recorded animation that is the same each time. It’s boring and there is no strategy to combat except for what your helm/bridge team looks like. And that takes a ton of money to grow. I dont recommend this unless you are Uber wealthy and done care to do any fun stuff of Star Trek - like excursions! Or customizing the ship complement. Literally nothing. You have to follow set paths to get to stars that are next to each other - thus totally defeating the “warp” anywhere concept.

Giving this game one stars for the fact you have to spend money to get anywhere in the game. Spent close to a year playing and the further I got the more expensive the game got. In the end it was a waste of time and my money, don’t be foolish and spend your money or time on this game you’ll regret it in the end.
