  • Screen resolution issue

Bottom of screen is cut off on iPad Air Gen 5, which has a resolution of 2360 x 1640. This is a ration of .695. The app displays correctly on an iPad Air 2, which has a resolution of 2048 x 1536 and a ration of .75. The app is pretty nice though. You can have 4 layers / synths running at once. There are a ton of nice effects to add for each layer independently. I also think it sounds great. I hope they can fix this issue in a future version.

A quote from The Hobbit: “Everything tastes like chicken except the chicken, which tastes like fish!” I tried the free version just to get an idea on the accuracy of the four instruments. They all sounded like the same patch except the Blau, which sounded like the chime setting on an old Kimball organ. Not impressed at this point. I only want three of the synths offered, is it possible to get just those on IOS?
  • Not functional

Big fan of IK Amplitube is amazing. But this app is simply unusable. The UI is cool completely unresponsive. Adding a MIDI controller just makes it worse. The non mobile version is really good. This one is not.
  • I LIKE IT BUT....

App version needs a deep editing feature for changing waveforms with sub-oscillators. Overall, it’s awesome!
  • Great collection of synths but crashes

Beautifully sampled collection of classic synths. Only problems I’m having is excessive crashes in iPadOS 15 using beatmaker, AUM and stand alone versions.

Sounds great. Classic sounds. Blows on Audiobus. Unsure how much use I’ll get out of it.

The hardware products are good and innovative ..but many come with cheap proprietary chords ..that are not easy to replace...why do this to your people?..maybe to make more money I guess?..but not cool.. The customer service is probably the worst I can think of.. no phone ..they will respond with , what seems like a Robot that is no help, very hard and frustrating to get any help...the software is just a trap to hook you into the pricey ecosystem..it’s actually decent yes..but not worth it to deal with this company on any level..shame because it could be different and Ik could be awesome but , I don’t have much faith..rn *Use caution or just don’t use there products ,many other options *I will update if it gets better..I do use the Irig keys i/o , its very cool but has awful cords..and is not easy to assign functions...not many videos , and again ..the support is a cruel joke
  • It’s worth it...

If you know what you are doing with the app and how to do professional grade music production, you can get solid sounds. Otherwise, there are plenty of great synth apps that don’t cost as much. This is app for deep hobbyists and pro producers.
  • Probably not worth it

The free version is too limited for most proposes. The keyboard is glitchy and doesn't respond to touch. The full desktop software is good though. It's a shame buying the deluxe doesn't come with the deluxe mobile version. If that changes I'll consider updating this review.
