I down loaded the free part not wanting to spend $50 till I knew if it would work. I was having to constantly reconnect with Kroger, could not connect with Publix and when I tried to enter a product from an independent grocer, was directed to pay in order to manually enter a product. Sorry, not enough positive going on here to go further. Excellent concept. Keep working on it. Update: I went ahead and download the pay side. I still don’t have Publix as an option. Still, this a very impressive app and I keep finding new things that I like. It will have five stars when they bring Publix back. Update: I have the paid version and finding it very useful. Yes, I wished they were connected to Publix, Aldi and the local chain. However, even without their participation this is an awesome app. My hopes is to take my iPad to the grocery store and know whether I need something or not. I hope that it will make me aware of expiring food so I can use it before it is too late. I also hope that it will allow me to digitize my recipes. That in itself is 5 stars and makes it better than the other app I have been using. Going forward I hope that …. I can adjust default weights of meat. I store my everyday meats in 1/2 Lb frozen food saver bags ( not 2 or 3 lbs). That I can prioritize my recipes over those on the web That the I can toggle recipe searches to look for only foods that I have 100% of the ingredients. And add Publix back and add Aldi to the grocery stores recognized. PS Something really crazy would be to add drinks, cocktail and bar drinks to the infrastructure.PSS. Connected it to Alexia so I can add to the grocery list using my Echo.

comparing prices store vs store; it used to be an awesome feature even though it was a bit buggy, will it ever return? devs? It is still one of the best pantry management apps i have tried to date but sometimes; one thing gets fixed, another seems to break or disappear. the cost is fine if you keep in mind that it helps them maintain the app quality and add/fix features, i send feedback whenever i can to try to be helpful. i'm looking forward to its progress very much but finding it difficult to be patient, kroger connection problem fixed but now my safeway won't import my purchases... when i click to update connection status to import receipts, i get no indication of how long it could take or if it will do anything or ever import my recent purchases. please help. It also won’t let me copy past plans to current meal plans without crashing 85% of the time.

Sometimes if you wait too long the app will fight with the server to undo recipe edits and meal plans, and a little buggy updating your pantry after you cook something. Seams not to grab main ingredients and lists other item to remove. Premium membership is okay for the easiest recipe searches. I still give 4 stars because of the inventory and expiration controls. I use the eat now option and get amazing dishes that I didn’t know I had.

I use this app for recipes and to cook and every time I change apps its closes my recipe and I have to search for it all over again. It’s extremely irritating.
  • How about a widget that shows current meal plans

Helps me use up what I have.😃 I’m using this as my only meal plan and budget helper and I love it. But, Please help me relink my app to the store accounts I shop at regularly. I don’t always have the time to scan the item’s in. I shop at wegmans and shop rite and can’t get them to connect. If the companies don’t want to participate then I can delete them, but I just don’t know. Would also love meal planning out two weeks if possible.

This isn’t the most intuitive app. I’m a simple cooker. Don't cook much, don’t like to cook much, just like to eat! Trying to get to the recipes I import takes several steps and I’d just like to be able to go straight to my recipes. It is excellent at keeping track of the pantry and giving you ideas. The simpler apps don’t do what this one can do, so I use this one, but a simpler user interface would be nice.

Downloaded it, went through all the setup, THEN it tells me I have to pay for it. What a waste of time.

I love the app overall. Easy to come up with meals instead of doing hello fresh or something. My only complaint is that you can sort for say less than 400 calories. But serving size is extremely small and it doesn’t clearly state what a serving size amounts to. My only complaint. One feature I wish it had was if it showed what would pair well with a main dish.
  • Great App

I love this app! It’s made meal planning so much easier for me and give you amazing recipes right at your fingertips without having to scroll for hours like Pinterest.
