First the good.. You can do a lot with the app for price. If you import a PDF of a plan, it is pretty accurate measurement-wise. There are enough options for decorating to make it interesting. The bad... App crashes all the time once you get any sort of substance to the plan. It's very frustrating! Walls go crooked for no apparent reason. I can't get flooring to stay within the bounds of the house. The yard turns to whatever flooring I put in the house. It is really difficult to maneuver in 3D and Visit, as it is in all programs. I wish there were a way to zoom in and out in Visit. Help files and instructions rarely cover problems I'm having. All in all it is a good app for the price, but it needs some finessing.
  • Crashes a lot, non-standard UI

It has no menu items, other than Quit. It seems to get spurious click events, atlhough that could be my laptop. I've had dozens of crashes this week, the most recent one caused by me clicking the Architecture button in the window.
  • Good but Lacks Apple Silicon Support

It's a good app but needs to support Apple Silicon, it's been a while! Currently requires to install Rosetta and it would work fine but someitmes it would just quite with no reason.
  • Great replacement for The Sims, but no basements

I love this app! It's much easier to use than running The Sims on a full computer. Even though I have been using this app for at least a couple of years now, and there have been some great improvements in that time, I'm still eagerly waiting for the ability to build basements.
  • DONT DOWNLOAD THIS APP

App shuts down every five minutes and is very limiting considering the plan I paaid for. I would never recommend this app.

First of all, the camera is backwards. It needs an "invert Y" option. If I put my hand on my trackball and push forward, the camera should look down, just as if I put my hand on your head and push forward, you will look down, not up. I'm controlling a camera, not a mouse pointer. There's a difference. Other than that, I can't find a way to see what the dimensions of a scaled object are. If this is to be used for anything serious, or anything other than a virtual doll house without any dolls, it needs the ability to show the size of a scaled object. I want to use this to plan real spaces. If I drag in a couch that is 5' long, but I want to know if a 6' couch will fit in that space, there is no way to tell accurately. The measurements should change as objects are scaled. It would also be nice if those measurements could be down any time an object is clicked on. Also, it would be nice if "inches" could be turned on, so that an object would say "65 inches" instead of "5 feet 5 inches." But that would be useless without knowing the measurements of scaled objects. Please let me know if I'm misssing something regarding the object measurements.
  • Hard to work

I played with this for about an hour or so and found it complicated to use. I had rooms set all out but once I went into 3D mode and back out to adjust the walls, it had connected everything. If I learned how to use it, it would have most likely been wonderful. it has cool features such as having openings in the ceiling(If you want upstairs to look into the living room, etc.) I just overall found it difficult to use on my laptop
  • Cant use features of free app after a while

You start building then all the sudden you cant use walls anymore or add things. Very frustraiting after spending so long creating a room.
