  • Old TV library video quality sub par

    By donnnjuannn
Both the Lois & Clark & Flash (1990) series have clearly not been remastered to 2019 standards. You might get better quality buying the mid 2000s dvds or buying directly from iTunes. DC made such a big deal about the HD remastering of animated material like Batman (why only 2 seasons by the way?)but clearly doesn’t care to remaster old libraries. I do not recommend. Oh, and the video is zoomed in to upscale to 2019 aspect ratios but it cuts off people’s heads. There is no setting to maintain 4:3 with black bars either. A big disappointment.
  • Amazing content, almost unusable app

    By edreck3
Access to all things DC is tremendous. Would be well worth the monthly price, except the app is so unstable that you can’t use it more than once without it crashing. Watch one episode, pause or exit and...crash. Move to next comic book in a series and...crash. Do some functional testing on the app before publishing updates. Incredibly frustrating.
  • Buggy af

You can’t read a whole comic without a page missing or the app crashing... terrible user experience... put no effort what so ever into making this app which is a shame
  • Latest Update

    By Lhdsrvniobx
I’ve been enjoying the app, but the latest update’s method of comic reading is difficult. Previously I could see if I had downloaded the entire book. Now downloading a page or so at a time takes several trips back out to the home screen and then coming back in. I’d rather have a delayed start to have the entire book than get to the last 3 pages and realize I am just going to have to come back later because the app won’t download the end. Otherwise, I’m quite happy with an app I initially questioned the worth of.
  • Crashing!!

    By Jthannn
This app will run smoothly on my phone but keeps crashing my chromecast when I’m casting content. I was hoping the multitude of reviews about app functionality and bugs would have been addressed by now. I was considering getting a subscription after my free trial, but I will definitely not if these issues don’t get resolved, and soon!
  • Really bad app

U have to literally pay to do anything 7.99 a month or 79.99 a year just to read a comic no free stuff
  • Great app, bad update

    By Error2003
This was my absolute favorite app. It was extremely easy to use and it provided an enormous array of great comics and movies. However, the update that changed the downloading of comics, really disappointed me. The old version allowed me to see what percentage of the comic was downloaded until it reached 100%. The new way takes you straight into the comic and downloads it page by page. There is no way of knowing how much longer it will take, and living in a place without great service, I have to for wait three minutes for each page to download. Reading comics is pretty much all I do on this app, and now I can’t even do that. If this could be fixed in another update I would greatly appreciate it. Other than that it is a good app.
  • Not ready for prime time

    By RVAwriter
Make no mistake — so far, the major reason to purchase a subscription to DC Universe is the quirky live-action Doom Patrol TV series, which shows enormous promise. However, this app isn’t quite ready to support the rest of the content on the service, which mainly consists of a curated comics library. The reader app frequently has trouble loading pages, resulting in an annoying error page with Batman’s Butler Alfred showing up way too frequently. It also has a major error of being unable to load the next comic in a series without having to navigate back through the menu structure. My major gripe with this service, though, is that for $8 per month, I expect more content. The Titans series is subpar and not worth it. So that leaves the comics — and there appears to be far fewer comics available to read here than on ComiXology Unlimited or Marvel’s unlimited subscription service. If you’re looking for every title or every comic in the titles they have available, look elsewhere. So far I’m thinking this isn’t worth the subscription fee yet. I’m hoping they’ll step up their game.
  • I want to like it

Please stop fixing things that aren't broken and work on the things that are. Trying to read comics routinely brings a black screen. Usually very slow to load on videos if it loads at all. DC you can do better than this.
