    The quality is descent for the price. My biggest complaint/frustration is the inconsistency of the camera losing the link. Sometimes it will log back in and sometimes it won’t. When it doesn’t, you have to manually unplug and plug it back in for it to work. I have been out of town a few times when this has happened so then I go for periods of time without any camera views of my house. It’s very frustrating.

  • Old app was better

    Tried the new app and it recommended firmware updates for my newest cameras. Now the old app won’t recognize them at all. The new app doesn’t load a camera, just says “ Loading” most of the time. Is there a way to go back to the old firmware so I can keep the old version.
  • Mydlink problems

    Took forever to ge t it to connect , spent a couple hours on phone with cable co, router co and then you guys and after half a day of calls it finally worked a t end of day. Had great cable signal at camera, they checked that when installing.?!Then it was offline for a day and a half last week, and had to reboot power to it to make it work again, so not happy. I am 1300 miles away usually and need to watch my basement for possible sump pump / water flooding problems , my Nest camera in Florida has been flawless for over 2 yrs. I’m cautiously going to keep it but if it fails again I will replace it with another Nest , sorry!

    I have two cameras set up one looking outside that picks up motion easily and I have one inside that doesn’t pick up anything ever. Been trying to get it so it starts picking up motion inside while I’m gone but hasn’t worked

    The mobile app for d-link 8010 LH is very confusing . The video quality works well . I’ve had this home Camera a few days. I’m still trying to figure out how to bring up Notifications when there is activity in the room . I also I never registered to send things to the cloud . I don’t know how to go back and find that registration page . Any ideas ?

    There is no indication of any charge in the box but when it’s connected it gives only 3 minutes to view then disconnects unless you buy the service. It worth buying something better for a better service
  • Slow to launch

    Old app launches in 6 seconds. New app launches in 30 seconds. New app you will need to launch, select camera, and view camera in portrait before you can go to landscape. Way too many button clicks compared to old. Looks like some didn’t do a flow chart before they started development.

    The camera shots off at night it will only stay on for five minutes most of the time sometimes it’ll stay on and definitely its way to random it moves all over by itself sometimes there’s no sound you can never rely on this camera at all I don’t like it I would never recommend it
