Rumor has it that every note and beat of his music hits the audiences in the depths of their souls. One day, Æsir, who had never shown his face before, suddenly announced that he will be holding the first mega virtual concert —— Æsir-FEST and will invite a top idol singer and a popular DJ as opening performances. The instant the ticket sales began, an unprecedented rush occurred. Everyone wanted to see Æsir's real face. On the day of the FEST, millions of people were connected to the event. Let me get this straight. I have over 120 hours in this game and it is by far my favorite game on mobile. For $2 it’s practically free. Some people don’t care for the story or the fact that the art style is anime but that’s ok. But if you like rhythm games you have to buy it no questions asked. It’s so old and it’s still getting updates. You have no excuse to not buy it if you are even considering it. Edit: I now gave over 200 hours, and the game takes up a third of my phone space at 10 gigs. The game is extremely condensed, the 10 gigs is a good thing as for $2 you get more content than most AAA games. Wow.
  • Best Mobile Rhythm Game

I’ve been playing mobile rhythm games for a long time now. I’ve tried out quite a few and have never left a review. The production quality, sound, charts, characters, story are all astounding. The diversity of genres based on characters is such a great touch too. I initially played this game just as another rhythm game to add to the list, I didn’t even realize this was a story based game at first. The game has a unique way of telling a story through IM boards, conversations, pictures, animations, and even through the songs. A common complaint I see is that there are too many things to purchase. This is understandable as there are many DLC characters and song available for purchase. Granted, there have been many sales over the years. I’ve also always looked at situations like this as “pay for quality.” This being said, the story is not locked behind paywalls. Buy the app and you can play through the entire story. The DLC characters do add to the overall story but you can think of them as more of side stories than the main campaign. TLDR: 10/10 game, worth the cost, amazing characters, story, animation, charts, and, of course, music!

This game never fails to keep me entertained. I always used to get bored of games fairly quickly, but I’ve stuck with Cytus for over 10 years now! The game mechanics are so fun and different from other rhythm games I’ve seen, and now with Cytus 2, the visuals and story are so much more detailed, elaborate, and beautiful!

As the title said, I will not be supporting this game anymore. Due to the company laying off artists and developers in favor for cheap ai art. Thanks for making the game lifeless. You have lost a customer.

You come because, hey, its a rhythm game, those are fun. You stay because of the story. Not only is it a nice break from, “Oh no, Prince Orange has been kidnapped by Booser, please save Prince Orange,” (You guys should know what I’m talking about) but all the characters storylines are deeply intertwined. Also, there are tons of details that add to the game, such as SPOILER ALERT Ivy missing in the final showdown title screen because she is now dead. SPOILER ALERT END This game also twists your emotions with moments such as ALSO SPOILER ALERT Vanessa begging for death during the final boss fight. ALSO SPOILER ALERT END While there is a lot of DLC, most of it is characters that aren’t part of the storyline anyhow. I will say, however, that the price is a bit much.

Everything looks like AI art, they laid off most their art team and replaced with AI, which is trained on stolen web scraped content. Don't support this company

I really did love this game before and had been playing it for years but I can’t support a company that fires their artists and replaces them with crummy AI “”art””. Don’t give them your money.

Been a long time fan since the release of the first game, I longer support the company and its future projects since they let go most of their art department in favor of AI-generated art.
