  • Constant rotation

I woud like to say this is a very limited app in terms of giving you different types of bodies. It can be a good reference when you are trying to sketch, but also, it has a major glitch as you try to articulate the models. It starts rotating continuously, and that is deterring me from using it. I hope this gets fixed.
  • Almost there...but minimal help file and no info on how to update to latest version?

This app has been very helpful to me as a non-digital artist when developing preliminary studies for oil paintings. Manipulating the figure by clicking on the circles to move the segments of the body is hard to get used to but once I got the hang of it, not so bad at all, and the ability to manipulate the direction of the lighting is a very useful feature. But it isn't the kind of app that works in an intuitive way (this isn't necessarily a bad thing in itself), and there doesn't seem to be a complete help file, so it can be difficult to use at times, especially for a relatively infrequent user. A far more complete text based help file, either available within the app or available for download would be very much appreciated! Even without such a help file, the app needs to somehow provide info on how to update to the newest version, 2.01, in my case on a Macbook Air. I can read all about the new update on the Steam site, but there is no link anywhere that I could find. It's not availalbe within the app itself, nor through the App Store, nor on the Steam site - at least not that I could locate. Should these two issues be solved I'd be happy to revise my review upward.
  • Good for posing, but UNFINISHED?!

This app has very good features in terms of posing, but the mac version just feels unfinished. The loading screen takes too long (even longer than some PC games) and I cannot skip it! Where is the "quit" button? How can I save snapshots?? I looked at the help documents and also searched online, but I couldn't find any answers. With these problems solved, it would be an easy 5 stars, but currently, no no...
  • Middle-click WAY too essential for a Mac app

What kind of mac developer writes a program that can NOT be effectively used without a middle-button on the mouse? This is OUTRAGEOUS!!!
  • High Learning Curve, Works BEST on Desktop Version.

This app is a HUGE for referencing. This App works best on the Desktop as you get much more, full control of model pose-ability movements. I use it on the desktop, then export the poses to my iPad for sketching, drawing, and shading using Procreate App. There's a HIGH learning curve to posing the models; you will get frustrated in the beginning but will eventually get the hang of it once you play around with the features. For best posing results, you would have to change your viewing camera angles (perspective) to get the proper poses to your liking, otherwise, you would get awkward poses. Using a desktop mouse makes it a bit easier to adjust custom poses (versuses the iPad app version). Note that the 'perspective slider' interface gives you a different perspective versus using the zoom scroll wheel on my mouse. There's a bug in the App that makes the interface move/rotate continuously and in order to stop it, I'd have to exit the software app (currently using on Mac OS Catalina). Make sure you save your poses. The App allows you to save up to five poses to reload later. Hopefully, we'll get future update versions which will allow different head, face and body shapes such as oval, square, round, husky, bulky, chunky and/or shorter limbs, etc. Right now the App offers super-thin to super-yolked, super-heroe like physiques. Overall, this App is amazing for artists to use as a reference to human anatomy and lighting concepts.
  • Not worth the $

The app works, not worth paying the $10 for though.
  • I had high hopes

This app has real potential. I like everything and am able to work around the things I find clunky, but it has a fatal bug. I work in it for awhile and then something happens and the figures float of the screen. They are spininng on some sort of large axis because if you wait they will come around after a minute and then drift off again like they are in orbit. PLEASE FIX AS I WANT THIS TO WORK
  • Not ready for desktop

I don’t have a mouse so I can’t pan and zoom in all that easy or not at all at times. I also can’t save an image to view offline.
  • Awkward, But Good Features

The controls are extremely awkward, not intuitive at all. When you select the wrist, for example, and move up (in all other programs, this would tilt the hand slightly back), it may tilt back or it may twist into a mess you can’t recover from. Lining up the camera and focusing solely on the joint you want to move, looking at it perfectly straight-on, seems to produce the best results but it’s a test in patience. Some joints work more sensibly than others, so they CAN work, but when I try to manipulate another joint, the same moves don’t translate. Possibly it’s TOO sensitive, meaning even the slightest deviation will set it off. There’s no real rhyme or reason to what works to manipulate a joint with ease and predictability. I don’t get much use out of this beyond the pre-defined poses because it’s so difficult to set up a pose. Other than that, the hairstyles and lighting effects are nice bonuses that I wasn’t expecting to get much use from. Camera settings are intuitive and easy. Grid on the floor is helpful. I would just like to see a wider variety of body shapes and a more refined control over joint manipulation.
  • it works for me

as an amateur artist, I find this program very helpful to use as a next generation mannequin. all the muscle works and it easy to use once you take about 10 minutes to learn about it. The only real issue is that the wrist joint seem be the least realistic when turning them, as if the are like dolls with stitched joints. I do like the option of making height and muscles as well. keep up the good work
