This is my first time completing one of the walk exercises and I really enjoyed it. It was easy enough and it made me push myself!
  • Why in the world no search filter in Browse

    By His karma
A search filter is a basic, basic feature. Running, walking, beginner, intermediate, marathon training, duration, max incline, max speed - you get the idea. It’s great that the home page now shows some of that information on about 10 workouts. You couldn’t figure out how to bring that information forward on the remaining hundreds? The information is already embedded in each workout. I spend more time choosing a workout by opening each one to get the basic information than I do working out! Maybe sorting Favorites by categories? We pay for these subscriptions - use that money to hire more creative, better educated and more experienced programmers. A more user-friendly app means more subscribers. It’s Marketing 101.
  • Stopped connecting

    By verammy
Was a great workout app until I upgraded to iOS 13 and it just won’t connect to my iPhone X anymore. Before that I was seriously thinking about purchasing the app after tryout period.

  • Useless

    By Nomad33FW
I have a new X9i and this app will not connect. IFIT has said here that it should, sales told me that it would, and the tech support has said this will not connect with any treadmill that has a screen like the X9i, even though pictures on the website show it doing just that. The sales team and app support team should actually have a conversation with tech support. How about fixing this so I don’t have to use the 5 year old tablet that you installed in my brand new X9i?
  • Half-baked mess

    By Ac1637488262
Bottom line: if you’re used to well-designed workout and fitness apps that integrate with each other, iFIT Cardio is going to disappoint and frustrate you, especially compared to apps such as RunKeeeper, Strava, Pelaton, MFP, etc. It’s slowly getting better, but avoid for now. 1. The app is just designed badly. For example, “popular workouts” are shown when you open the app. So you choose one, but it will be maybe “workout 6” from a series of 20, with no way of finding the others!!! You know the trainer name, the workout series name, but astonishingly there’s no search option in the workout library. You have to scroll and scroll through dozens of weirdly overlapping categories like “international” (full of duplicate indoor workout sessions), “running” (full of random running sessions from different courses), or “Adriatic” (courses that happen to be in the same area). For an app whose main purpose is serving up workout sessions from a library, the utter failure of the workout library functionality is breathtaking. 2. Second, the app is just *buggy*. For example, sometimes I pause a workout, then restart the workout a few minutes later. The stats all continue from where I left off, but the video restarts from the beginning, and the music track names will be wrong from that point forwards. Another example: The app and treadmill fail to connect to my Polar H10 chest strap when I start a run. I press the Bluetooth button. The app literally freezes with a box saying it is trying to connect to the monitor, then crashes out of the workout session. More: Sometimes when I finish a session, the screen goes blank, and a box pops up saying, “Something was wrong with your workout and it will not be saved.” With an “OK” button. Seriously. 3. Thirdly, amazingly, IFit thinks they own your workout data. Want to sync your smart treadmill workouts with MyFitnessPal, Apple, Google Fit, or Strava? Think again. iFIT doesn’t integrate with ANY apps or platforms. Your workout data is locked in their app. This despite iFit being utterly useless at showing your fitness over time, which series you’ve finished, planning your fitness program, or useful stats about your performance. This app is really weak considering the high price. You could literally buy two normal apps every month for the price of this half-baked mess. ———— Updated 10/2: App routinely losing place in video after a pause. Then if I stop the workout, it fails to save the workout, showing a message “Can’t save workouts of less than 1 minute”, even after 20 minutes of exercise.
  • I’m hooked!!!

  • Lacks the basics

    By MovieloverRon
Once you have the workout up and running it’s great, but it lacks some of the most basic features. It’s like the apps designers don’t use it. 1) Filters - you can’t filter by trainer, time duration, intensity, max incline, max speed, series type. Again, basic stuff here. If you only have 30 mins and want something that has a medium intensity, good luck. Figure it out by looking through all the workouts. 2) Follow a series - you can’t save a series and follow it. You have to constantly go to the main menu, scroll to find the series, then your next workout in the series. It’s annoying. You should be able to know which is next and have the option to play anything in the series. 3) Airplay streams one audio. iFit has the trainer on one track and music on the other. If you wanted to Airplay it to Sonos or another speaker, it will only play the music or the trainer, not both. You have to close and reopen a workout if the audio that you want didn’t play. Let us choose or have the audio stream be for both as a a default.
