  • Their “masters” in photography do not even know the basics

    The “master” class with Petra Collins was laughable. She doesn’t even know you can change a camera lens with film in the camera. How can she be teaching a master class and tell her students to pick their lens and stick with it because you can’t change the lens once film is in the camera? That is literally photography 101 knowledge. And the other master class with Annie Leibovitz she is basically just sitting there with a pointer while someone else does her edits. And she said she didn’t know how depth of field works! And she didn’t understand aperture and shutter speed, she just looks at her little meter in her camera! How are these people masters? In fact, how am I not making money when I know more than they do! If this is how the rest of your classes are doing to be, I will be wanting my money back! I was expecting masters of their trade! Not lucky people who didn’t get where they are with their knowledge.

    UPDATE 04/07/24 Definitely renewing for another year. The courses are terrific, and very insightful. Something about learning from those that have actually DONE it, rather than classroom theory, that is much more inspiring for me to learn more. The above criticism is still valid, the app menu is not that great, but there have been some incremental upgrades that make it easier to find my courses and lessons. 04/07/23: The courses are great, but the app interface is somewhat difficult. Still, the content helps me to develop my skills, so overall it’s worth it.

  • Subscription renewal inside app not working

    On latest version of iPad OS, I am trying to renew my subscription and it won’t show the price of the subscription…. And when I try to continue to buy the renewal it loads indefinitely and never brings me to the page to renew. Please fix or provide an email where I can send you screenshots. I would like to renew.

    This is horrible app. Since last year i m trying to cancel subscription and they still keep charging me!!!! There is mot even a option to cancel ur subscription

  • App is a glitchy failure

    This app is more frustrating then it’s worth. It won’t open if you’re not on WiFi, which makes downloading videos pointless. When you watch a video it forever toggles on the bottom of the screen. Making selecting other things difficult. It downloads videos then deletes them itself so it’s not there when you need it. Complete failure of an app don’t waste time. Content is limited also.

    I can log into the app on my phone but can’t watch the classes on AppleTV. Very frustrating.

    This app crashes more than a Boeing 737. Even when it’s working, it freezes and stutters. I can’t get through one 30 minute session without multiple crashes that require restarting the whole thing. For the price of this content Masterclass needs to get its skit together.
