UPDATE TO UPDATE: It has been some time since I wrote the update and this app has become more and more unstable. I try to reach Altamail, but I can’t get through to them and they can’t reach me. They tell me to make sure they are in my address book and they are. The only time I receive a response is when I write a bad review. The first version was great, but this is by far the most unstable app I have. I have it installed on 2 iPads and I have the same problem on both. It just crashes for no reason. UPDATE: I left a bad review and I received a message telling me to contact them. I have tried to contact them through the app many times and I finally went online through their webpage asking for help. I never hear from them and I have no idea how to contact them. I‘M going to contact Apple and see if I can get my money back because app crashes most every day and now is giving a message every time I open the app tell me my mail is delayed and that maybe I did a forced closure of the app. Terrible! It crashes a lot! I keep trying to get help, but I’m never contacted. AltaMail support used to be really good and now it’s really bad! The app crashes daily and freezes up on occasion.I thought AltaMails people were going on to do other things? It appears they did and sold the app to somebody else who is not willing to offer support. I will not subscribe again
  • Beware!!

This app now requires a subscription, which I am ok with because it is a very good email app. Been using it in one form or another for at least 4 years. However, they apparently haven’t worked the bugs out of the subscription situation yet. I just got an error message out of the blue (no forewarning) that the time on my free trial has gone to zero and I am now essentially locked out of the app. Ok, where and how do I pay? There is no indication how to do that and the app just sits there “loading” (something) Thoroughly peed at this app!!
  • Upgraded from AltaMail Classic

August 15, 2018 3:38 PM Waiting for O365 OAuth support for MFA. The support for is there, but not the Office 365 enterprise login yet. I'm hoping it comes soon, because there is no other email client that supports O365 and share extensions to file emails as eml files. February 28, 2018 11:52 AM I contacted support to add a feature request to open eml files from within DevonThink so I could reply to that email. My issue was when using the share extension it would attach the eml file to a new blank message. In under an hour from my emailed request, Melissa responded that I should proceed to open that attachment and I would be able to reply to that message as I intended to do. That was great news for me. This allows me to use on iOS and macOS: DevonThink to organize emails, documents, screenshots, etc. into projects. OmniFocus to track next actions on those projects with links that switch me between those two apps. My mail program (AltaMail on iOS and Apple Mail on macOS) to open filed emails in DevonThink to respond with project status. --------- I have been using the now called classic version for years now. The most used and needed feature for me is the ability to send emails via the Share extension to DevonThink. Once in DevonThink I can then create a task with a link back to the content. I can even open the mail message later on my Mac via DevonThink to respond to it. Occasionally, I would be frustrate trying to send two to three pictures from DevonThink to AltaMail Classic as it presented a stripped down compose dialog and would often crash. I’m happy to report that this works fine in the current AltaMail version. Whenever I needed a question answered or request a feature, the support has been great. To be fair, I did not ask for support when attaching files from DevonThink before and just did that from my Mac instead. I don’t really like subscription models, but there are not many email apps that support the share extension that is needed for my workflow.

    I Love It!!👍
  • De las mejores aplicaciones para correo

    By Electrin

Perfect app in many ways but the search is too slow and cumbersome. Fix that and it's five stars
  • Very good mail app, plenty of features

Im enjoying the app due to all the great features. it is easy to learn and use once you discover its capbilities. I would give it 5 stars but there is no MAC PC version. I use it on 2 Ipads but miss the pc version. Im trying to decide to keep using it, I will hold out for a while hoping to see the Pc version.
