  • Good app but expect to pay

    By PerriO
I love this app but very sad that you only get 3 levels before running into the membership wall. I really like that the app lets you practice writing. I wish the membership wasn’t so expensive. I am going to learn from a library book and WaniKani for free instead. But if you really want to learn and are willing to put down a sizeable chunk of money, this is a good one.
  • Great! fantastic baby!

So I’ve been learning Korean for about a year now and anytime I start a new app or book I start from the beginning of my knowledge that way I can review. A lot of other apps like to teach you vocabulary first then grammar which is great if you don’t want to use what you know on a daily basis. With this app it teaches you the grammar as its teaching you the vocabulary so you can form sentences and be able to communicate more efficiently. I also love that it didn’t start with your basic “안녕하세요 “ though important it gets a little redundant when you’ve been studying as long as I have. I have learned more grammatically in this app then I have learned over the last year using mango and Rosetta Stone. So I’m impressed and will continue to use this app.

I can’t log in to my account because I forgot my password. However, when I try to reset it I never get the email. I have tried multiple times as well as sending feedback through the app. Usually a message pops up saying something along the lines of “Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later”. Please fix this!
  • Great App

This app is so easy to use and so very helpful. Would highly recommend for beginners in a new language since it’s so convenient and tutorials are great .
  • This is literally the best!

I am a visual learner and was struggling figuring out a way to learn both Korean and German more easily. I have tried Duolingo and Memrise, but LingoDeer goes above and behind with not only visuals, but easy to understand audio, plus so many helpful explanations! You can press on a word for translations if you don’t know it. The option to only use Hangul instead of Romanization has been invaluable for my Korean learning so far. The animations and format are so fun to work with that it makes me want to be learning all of the time! Thanks so much for an amazing app! P.S. Membership is 100% worth it
  • Excellent!

A bit expensive but totally worth the price.

Edit: In the latest update, I'm not sure if the time counted for how long you do lessons is accurate anymore — for example, I did at least 1 minute of a lesson and it counted it as 1 second in the "day streak" tab. I tried sending this through the Feedback tab, but it wouldn't send. It used to be better, I wish they would group together the 1 and 2 courses (instead of making them each a whole new course, make it an option inside its own course). Also, it has been a bit slower (laggy?) lately. Besides that, this app is awesome 👏 Edit: They grouped the 1&2 courses together 👏 👏 yeet
  • 👀👌Hell yeah

  • Best Language App I've ever tried.

    By anna rey
I've been learning Korean for a few months now and I'm always on the look out for resources. I would like to say that Lingodeer is by far the best app I've ever tried. I bought a 3-month subscription and considering to upgrade it to Lifetime if everything goes well (cause I need to polish my rusty Chinese too). I'm just bummed that I missed the $20 sale on Lifetime. :( Please please bring it back. Hehe :) 감사합니다, Lingodeer team for a really well-designed app! Cheers!
