  • Nothing like android app on iOS

    Chose this app on the recommendation and function on a family members android device. Complete disappointment on iPhone. Radar map doesn’t show your pinpoint and just seems dumbed down to me.

    So much potential if this app was just maintained. The app doesn’t refresh properly (if you don’t force close it doesn’t update the temp/hours/etc if you look at it later). Also, currently the “current temperature” shows 5 degrees lower than the daily low, but in the hourly graph it shows the appropriate temp.

    It shows time from the wrong time zone. A phone in MST shows time in EST. Data sources seem to be broken, API hooks are probably desperately needing an update. Weather.gov updates are only every 6 hours. No way to manually refresh updates other than switching data sources.

    It’s an ok app, but not a total replacement for Dark Sky that it needed to be a year after use. Out still lacks many features that I’d hope would be in one main app by now.

  • Not nearly as good as the Android version

    I had an Android phone and this app was great. It had over 20 data sources and would refresh by pulling down. This iOS version only has about 10 data sources, lacking my favorite, and won’t refresh by pulling down. I bought it based on how good the Android version was and I regret it. Please make it as good as the Android version by adding all the data sources and adding the ability to refresh by pulling down.

  • Good solid app but some issues

    I like this app a lot for the relative accuracy, clean look, features (including being able to pick the source for your weather data), and low cost to remove ads (I paid $4). However, the app doesn’t always refresh unless you force-close it, and lately sometimes even that won’t get it to refresh. As I write this, it’s past midnight, and no matter how many times I close the app it still shows me the weather for 6pm. Also, the moon phase for the current day is accurate, but for some reason it gives the wrong days for the next two phases. And the radar is only so-so.

    There needs to be a pull-down-to-refresh option. I always have to force close the app to get the current weather, the update every 30 minutes doesn’t seem to work well at all. If this change was implemented, easily a full 5 stars.

    i finally found a decent weather app that lets me choose from several sources. dark sky api seems to be down (as of june 6 '23) otherwise it's great. it looks sleek and works really well. deleted all the other ones.

    The refresh issue has been adequately addressed in other reviews & is a real issue for me. But what is up with the moon phase feature? Today (4/16) it correctly shows a waning crescent. However, it then shows a full moon tomorrow & a new moon two days after that! Ummm….not happening from my perspective on Earth.
