I purched app for 7.99 thinking I could sync my databases between my iPhone, IPAD and MAC. I still have not beeb able to do this. I like app but feel I was taken to purchase APP and now it wont work. I contacted support and as told to follow instructions which I have been doing. Would recommend the free app but not pay 7.99

This application is mediocre at best. But, there are so few prayer apps out there that I purchased the unlock to have unlimited requests added, as well as the unlock to allow it to be used with iCloud and transfer my data to another device. *****Be warned: The app is NOT free, despite the nice little “warning” above. I assumed because I had already purchased the unlocks on my mobile device, that this would also apply when I downloaded the “””free”””” Mac app. But, no - you are required to pay to unlock features on the Mac edition, even if you have paid to unlock the featuers on your other mobile devices. This is a huge rip off. At least on the Mobile app, you can pick and choose which features to unlock, but on the Mac app you are required to pay $8 to unlock all the features. I have Olive Tree on my Mac, iPhone and iPad. They didn’t require me to pay for my mobile devices, and then pay again for my Mac app. If you want to pay $8 to $16 for a mediocre app at best, go for it. But I don’t think it’s worth it. Wolves in sheeps clothing. Grr.

I’m willing to pay a little more than average for a great app or one that is not available elsewhere. I tried the Free version of this app and then paid for the full version afterwards. (You can only have about 6 prayer requests on the free version.) I knew that the app was available on iPhone and iPad as well. I thought it would be great to type them on my laptop (since it’s easier/quicker) and then keep my lists synced with my phone for when I’m out and about. What I didn’t realize was that if you want to sync between computer and phone you have to PAY for BOTH apps separately. $7.99 + $3.99 (I use the term “syncing” lightly because you have to upload and download the requests manually - there’s no automatic sync). So $12.00 for what is, essentially, a VERY basic app. It functions, but it’s no frills. No customizing appearance and not very many formatting options. When I had a problem syncing the information (between the paid computer app and the free phone app) I contacted their help dept. and to their credit, they responded the same day. Bascially they said, “Sorry, that’s just the way it is." It sounds like the syncing might work if you purchase the iPhone app and access it on an iPad, but I have no interest in that. I thought other people would like this info. before they spend money on this when there might be something better out there.

I have been very pleased with the app so far, but when installing it on my Mac computer, it will not allow me to add requests on my computer - even after I purchased the add-on of unlimited requests for $1.99. I’ve had no problem adding requests on my iPhone and iPad but keep getting error message on my Mac stating that it is locked and cannot add more requests. I’ve contacted support about this issue days ago and still no response. I plan on contacting again to try to get refund.

In my most humble opinion. I believe the makers of this app should be much much more transparent about the differences between the free and the paid versions. Sometimes not giving information is the same as lying. I alsothink that Google Keep is a very good too for managing lists like prayer requests and syncs across multiple platforms. Oh and hey $7.99 just to add a weekly calendar view of your prayer requests, sounds pretty greedy. "Love of money" I’ve got apps with 100 times the tech and programing that are FREE! No user guide that I can find. The interface is not intuitive. I love this idea, but it needs some polishing. I’ll pray you find a way to make it happen for the users.

Several things to like about Prayer Notes. It can sink between iMac, iPad and iPhone. However, it is not as simple as it should be. I can only upload from my iPhone to the iMac. Then, I must connect the iPad to the iMac to get it to sync. Customer Service responded to my email quickly, and I may be to address it with some experimentation. The problem is an issue with iCloud. Prayer requests can be assigned to categories and days of the week. The down side is that you get exactly the same prayer requests come up every Monday, Tuesday, etc. Still, it is good to be able have the requests on all devices. You can pray by categories or on a daily basis. I reccomend the program. I am not aware of anything else that will sync your prayer requests between all Apple devices.
