  • One Complaint!

I’ve used Informant for years, religiously, and have loved it, although a recent change, I believe, requires that if your email address is an iCloud account, which requires an iCloud password with at least 1 capital letter, which Informant can not accept, therefore, you're unable to subscribe and get Weather, etc.. Please correct this so iCloud users can pay you to subscribe to this service! 🤞
  • Great app!

I’ve used this app for many many years. I quit using it when they went to subscriptions since I’d already bought it twice (second time I had to re-buy it when they upgraded). I switched to Google calendar. After suffering through a year with Google, I checked back in with Informant and decided to bite the bullet, pay for it yet again, and get my life back in order. Honestly, this app works better for keeping me organized than any other thing I’ve tried other than a paper planner. It has more features than I use, but the event and task features are perfect for me. The notifications seem to be the value prop I couldn’t find in other apps. Buy it. It’s worth it.

The best UI, speed, concise and easy adding event! Comparing other calendar apps. ( experience of paid apps around 15year) I would definitely pay for this calendar if it’s not annual subscription.
  • Improved

Update: iPhoneXs: I know the developers are earnestly trying to make this work well. But there must be fundamental code problems. I set a time for an appt. and it saves a different time. It just isn’t reliable enough. There are other calendar/task apps that don’t make errors, and run more smoothly. I’m sorry for all the work they do that there are still glitches. This version had a rocky start, but the programmer has made some improvements. The support is okay. The app is versatile. Widget fails to load on iPhone 7+ with latest public beta.

I had this app for years until the last update wiped the WHOLE APPTS AND INFO were very important. Now app decided to charge on what I had been using... so came to wondering how many appts did I missed? Wondering what appts I had on??

This app is far and away the most capable and intuitive PIM app available. If you are a GTDer then this is the app for you. You will not be more productive than with this app. Love it.

Informant was the reason I switched to a smart phone from my trusty PDA. That tells you how long I’ve been using it. I didn’t want a “dot” to tell me I had an appointment, I liked being able to read what it is without having to change screens. This app does that in a full month view. Always has. The latest rewrite retained all that was good about the last version and expanded on it. Thanks.
  • It stinks!

Everything is more difficult to do than on the original informant. And for this I paid $25? I want informant back.
