Don’t pay for it! It’s super buggy. I paid for it and wish I hadn’t. You can’t pause and play. The play feature takes over. You can’t go to a different chapters the app goes where it wants in the book.

This is the most horrible reader. Computer generated voices that are so hideous to listen to.

Great App. Reliable. Much better than other competitors. Way more affordable. Does not skip lines or paragraphs. Able to download books fast. Easy to use. I see it has a lot of potential.

Mientras NO Sirve.

Skipping around a document is virtually impossible. Very annoying that I can move forward a few pages or easily go back and repeat a page. Needs improvement.

UPDATE 20 May 2022 I had to ask for a refund as no one has gotten back to me why after payment, I am still asked to subscribe when i had already subscribed. =========== I just purchased a subscription for English UK but each time i try to continue, app asks again to make a purchase. Please advise.

When I realized I could save some time having my phone read PDF files I needed to review weekly to me (they are unreadable because the screen is too small), I searched and found this program immediately. All I can say is, it’s nearly perfect: full control over voice and speed, it highlights the word as it reads it, making it easy to follow along, and doesn’t halt for no reason like the built in iPhone reading functionality does. Two improves might be, a) to allow me to read websites or sources not stored locally or in iCloud/Dropbox, and b) try to improve the pauses. The iOS voice reading system is kind of dumb, thinking that the period in 3.14 is a period in a sentence and requires a pause, and line feeds (which signify a new section in the text) should certainly get a pause as they are not part of the sentence in the line above. But very good work. Best of all it’s a one-time purchase, not an ongoing subscription.
