Description

Lets face it. There's a lot of loan calculators out there. Why choose this one? Well it's easy to use, the font is fairly large and it's got lots of colors. If you're still interested here's more: • Early payoff calculations. • Break down of payments for each period (amortization). • Compare multiple loans and payment schedules. • Easy export to HTML and CSV for view on a computer. • Currency based on the region. • Did I mention it has lots of colors? =) Thanks for reading this far, I hope you give this calculator a try.

We, at times, have to figure out things based on customer can afford a fixed $ amount per month at a fixed % and then calculate things from there.

Does a really good job at creating an amortization schedule. You have to export it either in html or a csv file. Open the csv in either Numbers or Excel if you want to edit the columns, rows, header, etc to your liking. And then you can print it out. Kinda wonky trying to print it straight from the app. It gives you two successive tables with no ability to eliminate the second table. Well worth the money!
  • Exporting report to HTML changes $450,000 to $4,500?

I keep running figures for a $450K loan, and when I try to export the info, the report comes out as a $4,500 loan. I'm scared.

Doesn't allow for dates and date of starting extra payments to start.
  • NO LONGER SUPPORTED? APP ABANDONED?

I just downloaded the app today 11/13/2019. Computer running v.10.13.6. The app allows you to enter the loan amount, percentage rate and duration of loan, and then calculates the interest and principle. The app does not appear to save this information with a title or heading as to what bank loan, or credit card loan to reference later although this save option appears to exist. When clicking the support tab at the top apple menu bar for the Loan Calculator, the dropdown menu gives you the option of ‘user guide’, but when clicking this option it brings you to a ‘404 Error - Page Not Found’. With that conclusion I can only assume the app is no longer supported or has been abandomed by the developer. Why then continue to sell in the Apple App Store? I swear, the App Store is almost as bad as the Google Play store these days. I will remove my review if/when the developer updates this app. Thank you.

Recently purchased and used it and it worked fine the first time. Tried it again today and it somehow will only export the very first calculation I did, in either csv or html. Will not even export the current sheet after trashing all saved items even after saving as a new or trying to update. Works fine for doing the calculations but will not export your current work. Unfortunately, would not recommend it. Hope they fix it. Currently using macOS 10.13.6.

I had expected to be able to track loans and add different extra principal payments sporadically when I wanted. The app only allows you to add an extra fixed amount to the payment when setting up the loan. Also there's no calendar or dates associated with the payments. I'd happily pay more for an app that has those functionalities. It's useless for me. Pls add those features.

The app seems to work as initended. It would be nice however is the combined princiipal and interest were displayed somewhere on the table. EDIT: I missed it. I does include the total payment. Increased my rating.
