Description

Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. The newest update to Pokémon GO, the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 750 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch, introduced a revamped Gym gameplay experience, including the opportunity to join together with others to battle against powerful Pokémon in the new Raid Battle feature! Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered! Now’s your chance to discover and capture the Pokémon all around you—so get your shoes on, step outside, and explore the world. You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away! Search far and wide for Pokémon and items Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items. Catching, hatching, evolving, and more As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger. Take on Gym battles and defend your Gym As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. You can also participate in Raid Battles at Gyms around the world. A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own! It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await! • This new update makes the app unusable

Please fix immediately. The app no longer loads. A forever spinning poke ball in multiple places, niantic screen, tyranasour screen asking to sign out, the Pokémon screen will never load when trying to re sign in. This is ridiculous. Fix it

I think items that we don’t use should be able to be sold for coins or trade for other things instead of just throwing them away for nothing.
  • Great Job excluding players.

For a game aiming to get people together and play, Niantic is doing a horrible job by creating exclusive raid pass. Niantic does not communicate with their players. Players must figure everything out through the grape vine. Another fail like GoFest. I quit. RIP PokemonGo

  • Urban elitist company discriminates against rural communities

Niantic apparently believes the only people that deserve to play Pokémon Go and be anything close to successful are people that live in cities. People that live in rural settings and don't have money to travel outside their communities should not even consider downloading this app. Small towns like mine of 1500 are lucky to have three stops. Forget having a gym unless your town has a "special" place—not exactly my town with just a failing manufacturing plant, no war monuments, fancy corporate offices or works of art. Those special places are 6 and 10 miles away in opposite directions; further if you want more than two. Maybe they expect us farm boys to be in better shape and hoofing 30 miles round trip each day to check on the chance to catch a Legendary something we are resigned to do so we can go over a week before finally having had two chances to blow an hour waiting for no one else to show up and give a hand. Sure maybe there are a dozen people who like to play but forget trying to get us all together to bring down a Raiku. And then when none of us get one because the odds are all 8 of us will not, it is pretty tough to persuade all 7 of my friends that share the passion to repeat the disappointment day after day. Look on the bright side though we do get to drop lots of coins for incubators to hatch all those second tier ranked Pokémon because that is our best chance to acquire them. Goodness knows we do put on the miles, though my bike has started to rust up because I dare not ride it in case of no longer counting distance because I am going to fast. Shame on you Niantic!!!!
