Mutual is the largest and fastest growing LDS dating app! Mutual is a place where LDS singles can make meaningful connections that lead to real dating. The app was created by BYU grads who know how difficult it can be to meet others with similar interests and standards, especially outside of Provo. Mutual offers features that help you get to know other single Mormons beyond their profile photos, by highlighting information such as mission location, mutual friends, and interests you share in common with potential matches. The Mutual team is committed to upholding the standards of our faith, and making Mutual a genuine and safe place you can trust. Everyone is required to sign in through Facebook to ensure people are who they claim to be, and all profiles get reviewed by one of our LDS team-members before entering our community. We also make it easy to report inappropriate behavior in the app, to maintain a positive environment for everyone. In the words of Brigham Young, "This is the place." MUTUAL UP - MORE FEATURES Upgrade to Mutual Up for access to exclusive new features, including: Ward Hop to change your location and match around the world, Unlimited Double Takes to undo past swipes, Ninja Mode to go invisible to everyone except people you swipe up on, and Daily Notes to stand out and increase your chance of matching. ------------------- Mutual is free to use, but if you choose to purchase Mutual Up, payment will be charged to your iTunes account, and your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. • Needs improvement

    By alexander.kovalenko
I've used this app for a bit. It's different in different areas so there's that. The real problem is the functionality of the app. There's a lot of bugs. I never get notifications with my matches and whenever I'm listening to music and open the app it turns off my music. I like using this app to meet people with the same values as I do, it just needs improvements.
  • Great for connecting people, terrible software

    By Tanner798
The app is great to meet LDS people in local areas. However, the app has tons of bugs that needed to be fixed a long time ago. Literally the same problems; i.e. notifications not working when they’re enabled, failing to load profiles after matching, failing to load messages or even send them, forcing me to log out, and many more. None of these problems are caused by internet connection because of the other dating apps working just fine while Mutual fails to operate properly at the same time. I have used this app off and on over the past year and a half, and I am surprised none of these problems ever seem to be attempted to be fixed in that duration. If it wasn’t for the app’s great ability to connect people, I would not use this app at all due to the lack of upkeep and overall care from the people operating the software side. As I have said before, this app has a remarkable ability to connect people in local areas. If it wasn’t for that aspect, I can guarantee you people would stop using it with the amount of complaints people have. You can only bank on your strong product differentiation for so long without fixing the software glitches plaguing this app before someone else has the idea to come out with an LDS dating platform with software that works and is reliable. If that happens, I promise you I would switch to the new LDS dating app. All they would have to do is advertise an LDS dating app that actually works with a competent software engineering team that actually cares. I have never seen an app go for a year and a half, like Mutual has, that has completely neglected the programs overall health. If you have any claims of fixing bugs and glitches in the past, I literally have not seen any progress.
  • Good idea, but way too glitchy

    By Iamgettingtoooldforthis
This is a good app in theory. It seems to be the go to app for most single Mormons, but it’s way too buggy. Mine crashes all the time. I have people I’ve been talking to for a while and one day the entire thread of messages disappear. The match still shows up In my conversations but there’s nothing else there. I’ve also had matches say I’ve ignored there last question when it appears I was the last one to send a message, which makes me assume there’s another glitch. How are you good enough at programming to delete my matches after a week, but not good enough to get a simple search bar or anyway to filter matches?
  • Not good so far

    By GM Scoot
It’s ok, not the next experience so far. I wish you could flip back at a picture without making you pay is kind of lame. But maybe something will come up in the future.
  • What gives....

    By fjekdkjdjsjs
I can’t access half of my pictures to post through your app. And it won’t let me decide which photo is the primary photo. Haven’t even done anything on here yet and already getting frustrated. And on top of that, I can’t send you this complaint without making up a nickname for myself. And every last name is taken. Seriously, come on....
  • It’s a great idea but there are a lot of bugs

    By Ems07257
The app has crashed or glitches out on me or people I know multiple times. Overall I love the idea behind it. If the creators can work out the bugs I’d say it could be fantastic. It would be nice if it even expanded to a desktop version with different methods of connection.

It will not let me add a photo from my camera roll, I start to scroll and the whole app drops off and closes - very annoying - I just paid too and it’s not working
  • Possibly met the girl of my dreams

I know online dating isn’t for everyone. It seems like a lot are posting on here before they have really given it a try. It took a full year with date after date. Now I’m really happy. Could it all end tomorrow? Sure! But I never would have met this amazing daughter of god if it wasn’t for this app. I’m nerdy, not perfect, and she accepts all that. Thank you so much for this!
  • Missing basic functions

    By Agentjgp
Once you slide a profile up, what happens to it? What happens if you send a message? Where does that go. Why can’t I go and review profiles that I was interested in? This app needs some upgrades!
  • Crash

    By diewithapp
This app crashes all of the time and It doesn’t send me notifications of messages. I’m going to delete very soon
