Pros: Good programming, very few issues. It is set up a bit different than the real game, with just 3 monster and Spell and trap slots as oppose to 5, 4000 starting life points instead of 8000, only 1 main phase as opposed to 2. And so far only the original monster types, regular monsters, ritual monsters, and fusion monsters. Last time I played in real life there were also syncros and xyz monsters, both of which essentially shifted the game from strategy/ control oriented game to various one turn kills decks. There also are I guess pendulum monsters and link monsters but I have no clue how those work. Fortunately that is all absent in this version of the game. This game also has an absence of all the original super over powered cards like Raigeki, yata garasu, etc. Which, honestly is a double edged sword. Cons: Imbalanced card releases. This game started of very good, and played somewhat similar to the real game back in the LOB days. Now the 5 ish months they started releasing packs with more advanced deck archetypes with card that were released more recently. These archetypes are completely imbalanced and there is no reason to run any other decks. First they introduced Gladiator beasts, then aliens, then sea steal attack, and now Sylvans which are a deck that essentially give you infinite resources for no effort. This can be fixed with future card releases, but the game is currently not worth playing until they do something to curb these decks. Also, the flip side of the blade is with cards like raigeki, harpies feather duster, mirror force not available, it actually promotes playing recklessly and with no fear of over playing their hand. A player can summon 3 monsters in 1 turn and go all out with basically no repercussions to worry about. Overall this is a nice game with a lot of potential still. It is worth the download and keeping an eye on. But it simply is not worth playing ranked fuels right now with everyone playing Sylvans with the same strategy which essentially reduces the game to a coin flip for who wins every game.

  • Update is really bad

This recent update just ruined the flow of the gameplay. The selection box shows up suddenly while a certain card flashes on the screen like using Hazy Flames Sphinx for example. The box to select monster, spell, and trap shows up suddenly while Hazy Flames Sphinx card still flashes on the screen. Same thing to all other cards. When a card effect is In use, the cards flashes once instead of twice like in previous updates. Also opponent's voices don't play when they lose in auto dueling. Everything was fine before this update so there is no reason to fix what's not there. Please change it back to the way it was before.
