Life Cycle does not use the GPS in the background, but instead relies on cell tower and Wi-Fi locations. As a result, it consumes less than 1% of your battery per day, when the app runs in the background. REQUIREMENTS • Life Cycle needs to run in the background to be able to record your data. It only uses 1% of your battery per day when doing so. • You need to carry your phone with you, for Life Cycle to accurately record and interpret your activities. • Wi-Fi should be enabled on your phone for tracking to work. The optional Premium subscription costs $9.99 per year. Should you choose to subscribe to Life Cycle Premium, the purchase will be charged to your iTunes account. You can manage or cancel your auto-renewable subscription by entering the user settings in iTunes after the purchase. The subscription will be auto-renewed 24 hours before the subscription period ends, with the same kind of subscription you already bought, to the same price.     app, I enjoy having all of my info sorted like this, I’ve never really been able to see my life like this before. However, if there is one critique I could make, it would be that I wish I had more freedom in being able to label things and to be able to see my notes easier.

    I’ve used lots of diary apps, ones that track, ones that store photos, ones you have to write in, but this one is by far the simplest to operate while providing superb detail. The one thing I hate is having to provide all the info to the app, well not here this one does everything for you. I really can’t say enough, my only issue is they could make disconnection issue easier to resolve.

    I love this app but I’m beyond frustrated with how it imports from Apple health. Every time I go to the gym I want it to say “Gym” but because I track my workout on my watch as “other” it replaces gym with other every time and I have to go change it. I’ve tried deleting it but it puts it back. I want it to do what I put. I put it that way for a reason.

    Have been using the premium plan for a few months now. Love the product but can’t access the premium content with this latest update. Keeps telling me I have to subscribe to view it, then when I click to subscribe it tells me I’m already paying for it, which I am.
  • Good alternative to the Moves app

    I’ve been using this app since Moves closed down & Ive been enjoying it. I like looking back at my week, month activities. It gives so much info. I like knowing how many hours of sleep I only complaint is that when I pick up my phone to see the time and I go back to sleep it doesn’t start tracking my sleep.

    I USED to love this app until it refused to let me into it. I set a password/fingerprint requirement to access it, and now it doesn’t even pop that up. It’s just a blur. Fix this and I’ll give it a five star rating!!

    Since my 40’s sleeps been an issue. This year at 53 my migraines have been horrendous and lack of good deep sleep has taken its toll. This app is helping me see when I’m sleeping and really getting rest. Helping me evaluate and make changes to get better rest. Because sleeping doesn’t always equal reading deep sleep which is where our body needs to be to be healthy and feel great.
