    I made an order and used a promotion that was offered to me in the app that was getting me $40 off. Hours later, the receipt came back and the promo disappeared. I talked to like 10 different people and they all said the only way I can get a refund is if I send them a screenshot of the promotion that I no longer have access to since I already used it and it doesn’t show up on the receipt. Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

    I placed an order with them and they refused to give me a refund despite me having proof that it was not my order. They tried to tell me the order matches when the receipt of the order I got had a different name, order, and total. None of which matches my account or my order.

  • Horrible Delivery Drivers

    I have had multiple instances (more than I can count on two hands) with terrible service. Drivers have constantly delivered to multiple addresses that WEREN’T the delivery address. Just this morning my wife had ordered food and it was listed as a 10-15 min delivery time, took almost 30 mins, then was delivered to an entirely different street and house and the “photo proof” did not have the food in question at all. Now the driver refuses to answer their phone after 30 calls trying to reach the driver. Now she has to wait an additional 40 mins to get the food? How is this fair? Another instance is drivers taking BLURRY in motion photos of them in their cars with no documentation the food was delivered only for the DRIVER to take the food with them and then ignore the calls coming through to answer where the food was left. I HATE this app very much as it is also EXTREMELY overpriced (have confirmed with businesses websites and have decided to order directly from those businesses who have their options at $2-7 cheaper than Uber as well as free delivery over $30), as well as the price fluctuation for timing of ordering, aka if ordering around a popular dinner time, the prices are hiked up for demand. I doubt the drivers are being compensated for their hard work and I DO think they deserve better treatment from the giant company of Uber who can afford to pay them better BUT if you are just going to let the average joe get away with stealing someone’s food, poor delivery, etc. then what is the point of having the company?

    I’ve had really bad experiences with most delivery apps but this one surely takes the cake in how suspicious they are. If you’re a young adult on limited money or anyone in general who wants to keep your money, please don’t use this. I ordered food almost three days ago that I had to go pick up myself and I had one charge for that. Today when I’d gotten my check deposited, I noticed an unusual charge from my account that was “pending” and was pulled at freakin 3am. First of all I was asleep at this time and didn’t order Jack squat! Second of all it was for an order I did ALMOST THREE DAYS AGO AND WAS ALREADY CHARGED FOR. Why are you pulling money out of my account AGAIN. When I spoke to customer service they said it was a hold that would fall off. However you still pulled the money at an odd time, and you could have left me in the negative??? See how bad that sounds? This is my second bad experience, in conclusion I will not be using these services again.

    Use literally any other delivery app because Uber Eats has the worst policies and will hide behind them while they waste weeks of your time and money. I waited over 4 hours for an order, messaged support every hour saying my order was not coming and they robotically said “be patient” every time and claimed my order wasn’t eligible to be canceled without a fee. Finally the order was automatically canceled after 4 hours from timing out and then they switched the script to saying the order wasn’t eligible for any credits despite the fact I had to spend 4 hours constantly chatting with support trying to cancel the order or get a refund without a fee. I then called to explain the issue and they claimed to issue a $10 credit, I assumed that was great and the issue was over… but no credit was issued and I called back the next morning to check. They said they were working on it and to call back in 72 hours if it’s not in my account by then. I call back because it still hasn’t arrived and they finally tell me the issue is closed and they cannot help because it is over 48 hours since the original order… I calmly explain the situation in the chat messenger and they just keep copy pasting their 48 hour policy and closing the chat. This is the worst food delivery company out of all of your options and worst customer service. I don’t even blame the outsourced customer service agents, the company at the top is not giving them any power to resolve these issues. I don’t mind food being 30 mins late to even an hour. But 4 hours and no food is not the norm and the entire time they refused to cancel my order despite the obvious issues without charging a fee, and kept messaging me saying to “be patient”. But if you like ordering lunch at noon and then having uber refuse to do anything until dinner time, go for it. Just don’t expect a single thing from support because they have been instructed to copy paste a script and then close the chat.

    They didn't renew my subscription after my PayPal got discontinued then found a way to charge me anyway. And their charges went up for stores close to me. Not worth either price. It's a scam. This is a company that is willing to screw over the consumer and producer. Don't trust them anymore after how they show they treat their customers.

    Orders from restaurants are constantly wrong with missing items that I paid for that I obviously expected to get SINCE I PAID FOR IT and when it didn’t arrive with my order I try to get my singular item refunded back to me, and it’s “ ineligible for refund” WHY WOULD IT BE INELIGIBLE. IF I PAID FOR MY ITEM, I EXPECT TO RECEIVE SAID ITEM. Also customer service is horrible, will dance around the question but will never answer it and when I ask them to elaborate they end the chat

    get any other bootleg deliver app, doordash is way better. When ordering from uber eats they allow you to order from a restaurant 10 miles away but once you place the order they don’t tell you that the delivery person will pick up your food and then go completely other orders while your order is sitting in their car getting cold. if it says it will take 30 mins to arrive or that you’re 30 mins from the store, always assume it will take them an hour. this app clearly doesn’t care about the quality of food they deliver or that it this process is run so poorly. use any other app, do not waste your money on this scam.
