  • Doesn't work

Omg PLEASE tell me what features and bug you fix/update! I pay for the app, tell me what’s new not take the lazy approach and give the exact same canned answer for every update. -4 stars for laziness

  • Love it!!

    By MeanysHouse
Children love discipline!! Electronics were getting out of control in our household with my son. Especially his phone 😤. This app allowed me to put a time limit on his phone. Also, he can do different task to buy himself more time. I made the task things he needs to improve on; Chores, hygiene, fitness, playing with his dog, grades, and things 11 year olds are supposed to do. It’s working so far, have a happier kid too, and his eyes are actually on me now when I talk to him. Plus, knowing he only has so much time he is more inclined to put his phone down and save some time for later. The only downside, has nothing to do with the app itself. I just had an issue buying the premium through iTunes! So, if upgrading I would recommend buying through the site and not an iTunes subscription. Plus, it doesn’t cost as much! 👍🏻
  • Terrible and glitchy

I have this app on my phone and it always seems to find its ways to not work. When you go in to get your apps back, it will give you a button that says “tap here to get my apps back.” Once you tap it, it will load for a while, and most of the time after a while of waiting, it will go right back to the first button. This cycle continues for a while. Sometimes it works and it gives you a button that states “tap here to finish.” But most of the time it will stick with the glitchy side.
  • Could be better

Love that I can control bed time and school time. That being said, that’s all I like about it! I can’t see what apps my daughter is using (they just say iPhone, not the name of the app) it automatically takes off music that it thinks is bad (anything that’s labeled explicit) even though I have already approved of her music. And I still can’t find a good way to contact someone to ask any questions. Probably not going to continue to pay for this unless some things change.
  • Creates more problems than it solves

    By Lux0613
Creates more problems than it solves, e.g. if you close the screen time app in iOS it causes all your custom order of apps to reset, even app folders are gone. I spent hours trying to get their faq ‘solution’ to work, eventually had to manually reorder the apps and recreate the folders. The 2nd time it happened was too much for me.
  • Finally a way to actually control screen time

My kids have androids, I have an iPhone, I’m able to control what apps they use and when. We started by simply monitoring the amount of time the kids were on each app and after a week we engaged the kids in a discussion about how much they are on their devices. We all decided together when certain apps should be “paused” and when they can use them. Our kids respond a lot faster when we ask them to come to dinner, if they don’t we can pause the phone and send them a message. We’ve made adjustments on the fly, based on our kids changing schedules. I can receive a request while at work, from my kids at school, to unblock an app temporarily and I can manage it in seconds. I am looking forward to greater flexibility in the scheduling options, apparently coming at the end of 2017. There is also a goal setting feature that we haven’t used. Also apps that run in the background such as Spotify, are not able to be paused once they’ve started. I’ve been searching for an app like this for the last 2years, overall we’re really satisfied.
  • Horrible

I inadvertently loaded this app on my phone and it blocks everything. Have tried unsuccessfully to remove it and it keeps deleting all of my info. Don’t get the shame of an app. Just horrendous!!!!
  • Great app for parents!

    By robyn;;
I used another app before this but couldn't do as much as I can with this one. I love how there can be multiple children and devices on one account. The pricing is also not bad. I got a year of service cheaper than with the old app I had that did very little. I love how I can control the amount of times he can spend on his decieves so its's not a free for all and I like that I can add things for him to earn extra time which get's his choires done a little quickly. My 9 year old son hates this app however because it doesn let him do whatever he wants. He doesn't like having parental controls on rated things which I love because I know he can't watch things that are over his age group. Me and my husband both love this app and will continue using it.
  • Keep the tabs

    By S15679
We installed this app on our phones after our kid got a phone. This app has demonstrated how a parent can have a peace of mind by keeping a tab on how much time your kid spends on the phone. You can block their access to apps during the day by specifying school time & bed time. We like this app.
