I really want to like this game but... It’s rigged. 80% + of the time the opponent goes first, which gives them an advantage (extra turn). The opponents often have melds right off the bat (while I rarely do), and seem to be dealt “good cards” more frequently. Queen and King melds seem to be the most common (perhaps because of the Q&K lucky charm?). The win/loss pattern is usually 1-3 wins in a row followed by 1 or more losses, which results in an average of about a 50% win rate. The win rates of every person I play is ALWAYS between 49-54%, which jives with my observation and would be statistically improbable if the deals were truly random. You are prohibited from playing levels with a lesser gem cost once you’ve reached a certain gem balance. The claim is that it’s because the players in the higher levels are at the same skill level as you, while presumably those playing at the lower levels are less skilled/experienced. This is simply not true. I won 30,000 gems playing hearts or spades when I was at a level in the teens or 20s, then was forced to play at a higher level and gem cost against opponents with a ranking and experience level FAR above mine. This same limitation would apply to anyone that purchases rather than earns gems. Further, high ranking players are NOT prohibited from playing in the lower levels if they have a lower gem balance. If the goal is to truly match players with a comparable skill set, then it should be based on ranking rather than gem balance. The lucky charm levels cost less gems than those without, so you may be forced to play in them if your balance is too low. I see lucky charms as cheats, and prefer to avoid these levels altogether. Worse however, is that each lucky charm only becomes available once you reach a certain ranking. The higher the ranking, the better the lucky charm. Players at a higher level than you therefore have access to more powerful lucky charms (e.g. the zap/lightning bolt charm available at level 30), making it difficult to win against them. It costs 50 gems to play in “the streets”, but you can get less than that back even though you win depending on your opponents score. This is RIDICULOUS. You should at least get back the gems you paid to play if you win the game! I regularly have problems loading the game due to supposed issues with my internet connection. This is obviously not true, since I have no problems with any other apps and many other reviewers have complained of the same thing. I don’t like that the game automatically taunts your opponent when you either win or break a three win streak (“3 win streak” & “streak broken”). This should be up to the players to use or not use. This game has so much potential and would be great fun if the game play was more fair and the bugs were fixed.

This game used to be fun but you can tell it is rigged. People having 120 win streaks and you only score 5 points when playing against them. Make the game fair and it would be much better. You lose 50 times to every one win. The only thing that seems random is the daily game with the hearts and spades and guessing which on it is.

I have to be honest and say that I do really like this object of this game but there are some major frustrations that make me delete the app and never play again. 1. There should be an option to play for lower gems without the “lucky charms”. 2. The Lucky Charm that gives your opponent the ability to remove points from you should be removed or at least be only for one of the higher gem levels. You don’t earn it until level 30 and you have people like me who aren’t anywhere near there yet but cannot win a single game when your opponent has this lucky charm enabled. With that being said, I would never spend money on this game because at least 50% or more of your games you will lose because you never had a fair chance. Please consider making some adjustments and I will definitely play more and I would actually spend some money to have gems and continue play.

  • Losing to many games

This game has become ridiculous. On all the extra games to win extra coins and blocks. I lose 99% of the time while the other person lays down with 5 or 6 cards and I can not even get a match. I can win when it’s not the contest, but I’m sick and tired or this. I am deleting after loosing over 50,000 coins today alone. It’s over for me and I did enjoy when it was more of a fair game instead of the higher score person winning on every game

It’s obvious at times, in this case three straight games, that I am playing against their computer. Obvious because of the consistent speed of picking up a card instantly after I have discarded it. More amazing is they pickup my discarded card several times in a row, don’t use it, but manage to lay down a meld.
