Description

New ways to play! Play with friends or strangers in online play, or play offline with friends face-to-face! Exploding Kittens, the most-funded game in Kickstarter history, is now available for iOS. Created by Elan Lee (Xbox, ARGs), Matthew Inman (The Oatmeal), and Shane Small (Xbox, Marvel). KEY FEATURES: - Exploding Kittens is a multiplayer card game for people who are into kittens and explosions and laser beams and sometimes goats. - Play with 2 to 5 players across multiple phones in the same room, or online with friends or strangers - All art illustrated by The Oatmeal - New cards exclusive to the digital version of Exploding Kittens - The digital version of the most backed game in Kickstarter history In this highly-strategic, kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette, players draw cards until someone draws an Exploding Kitten, at which point they explode, they are dead, and they are out of the game -- unless that player has a Defuse card, which can defuse the Kitten using things like laser pointers, belly rubs, and catnip sandwiches. All of the other cards in the deck are used to move, mitigate, or avoid the Exploding Kittens. Exploding Kittens is a paid app in which optional game features may be purchased with real money. You must be at least 13 years old to download and play. There is also an option to compete online against strangers and resulting data transfer charges may apply. This game is very fun. Sounds effects are alright, aesthetics are cool i guess but the gameplay is great. Need a break from non interactive card games? Play this game. Remember that information is key!
  • Not as good as the card game, but a close second!

This game is not as good as the main card game and expansions but it does hold the reputation of the award winning game.

Ran smoothly until I joined a game, where the game crashed and put me back on my home screen. Same thing happened in single player mode. I was disappointed in the app because the real game was so fun, and this is a ripoff.

This app is so much fun. Playing online with other people is actually a good experience rather than playing against people who know how to cheat the game, it relies on some luck and some skill. It’s approachable by players of all ages too. This app got me to buy the real version and it’s expansion. I recommend it very highly.
  • Great game, only 1 flaw found

This game is great, but when KITT-E plays a Steal card when I have no cards, the game locks up. The game must think that it’s KITT-E’s turn, but KITT-E does nothing and I can’t do anything but leave the game and forfeit. This only happened once in about 50 games.
  • One bug

Awesome game. One bug that’s burned me twice today...... Fake Shuffles are actually shuffling. I had placed an exploding kitten on the bottom, fake shuffled, then drew shortly afterwards from the top and drew the exploding kitten. I was playing only one other player, so I knew where the card was.
  • Still buggy

I submitted this bug to the staff several months ago but it hasn’t been addressed. When I play against the computer and use a diarrhea card, the computer will cheat and still use the card I did the diarrhea on.
