  • Use massive data in audio mode

It uses so much data even when i am on audio only mode. I played 2 hours of audio only songs that used up at least 400 mb of my data. Also it pauses a long time before the next song. Other music app uses less data and doesn’t pause between songs.

You tube music loads quick , and your able to set , search , view and play you download music quick ! Only drawback is You can’t stop it from playing even when background play is off !
  • Too much data usage for cellular users

It seems the problem is the amount of buffering that is used. I get that this provides better service to the customer but if you happen to go on a song skipping frenzy then you kick off a snowball of data usage. I’ve read that some streaming services actually buffer the next song in the lineup. If this is true then that’s most of the problem. Most cellular services are plenty fast now that buffering is almost unnecessary unless you’re in a dead zone. Give more options for tweaking how the buffering is used and I would definitely consider a subscription.

Every form of music comes with my Youtube Red subscription, and I love it. 12.99 seemed hefty at first, but you get youtube music, google play music, and Red exclusive shows with the subscription. I used to have Spotify premium and Soundcloud+ but this has replaced both and done more for less. One thing that needs to happen is the ability to add songs to the queue (which nearly every other app does) and to have YouTube verified artists so they can be separate them from random uploaders, and possibly even more in depth, seperate music videos from just the track of the song. Overall though, my subscription is worth it and the free trial has successfully won me over!
  • Backround play

What’s the point of YouTube music if you can’t even play the music when you aren’t on the app, why bother with making another app devoted to music when you could easily go on YouTube to do the same thing. In fact, the only way this app could’ve been useful was if you could play the music in the backround instead of YouTube being greedy and charge us for the “Privilege” rather then having it as a convenience.
  • Do you like crappy insane amount of ads? YouTube music is for you

I like the music played but if your not willing to pay 20.00 a month be prepared for 3 min long ads back to back before hearing music. I get to here about Crohns Disease for 3 mins after each song. (Which I have no interest in nor do I do searches for it) The 50 shades of Gray for 3 mins after every song for a week was insane I switched back to Pandora because of it. I understand if you have a free version of the app they need to make money one way or another but this is insane! Hearing this much of the same ad makes me hate the advertiser I would rather slit my wrists then watch 50 Shades of Gray or use the Solara Product.

The landscape mode doesn’t work anymore when turning the screen, since last update. It use to work fine but I uodate to the last version 2 days ago and every time i want to play it full screen I have to do it manually, very annoying...

I tried to open the app but it just says sign-in error. I think it seems like a cool app, but I just need help getting in.
  • Full screen video feature disabled?

as of the last YouTube music of day, users are no longer able to make a video fullscreen. The former full screen button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, now minimizes the video to the bottom tens of the screen rather than making it fullscreen. Very confused. YouTube music allowed me to completely abandon YouTube for all music categorized video. But I actually enjoy watching full screen music videos, which I now have to use YouTube, unless I want to only hear the audio and see a quarter screen size video at the top. Not sure if this is a bug or just a ridiculous update. Please bring full screen mode back to YouTube music!!!!
