  • Love this app! Great tool

    I love this app! I’ve been using it now for the past 3 months. It’s great! The workouts are all scalable. The plan is customized for your fitness level and it’s a good way to track your progress. I wish you could pause the app or that you could upload your results after the app. Also i noticed that there are a lot of conditioning workouts but not enough strength workouts! I find myself doing the same strength workouts over and over again.

    Great app when using phone. Can’t hear tones when strictly using the watch. *** UPDATE *** The application designer contacted me - immediately - after this post. After a few email exchanges they quickly updated the application with a fix. My only regret is that it took me this long to figure out how to update the rating and comments. It's a great app!

    Keelofit review I started using @keelofit in the spring of 2017 and have just crossed the 500 workout mark. I am not one to write reviews on much but i felt compelled to do so for this outstanding program. Just a bit of background on me: I was a successful multi-sport athlete throughout high school, completed a handful of marathons during my college years, was an Army officer who maxed every PT test i was given, and now work as a Registered nurse at large teaching hospital. I say this just to let you know that I have both a fair amount of formal training and practical experience in exercise and fitness. I also am a single dad who has 3 kids part of the time so between that and working 3-12 hr shifts/week I don’t generally have availability to attend conventional 1 hr fitness classes. I did have the good fortune of having a CF level 1 instructor as a friend during my deployment who introduced me to CF/HIIT and did attend a local box for about a year when I first moved to my current city. Thus I was familiar/comfortable with most of the movements that @keelofit used. The program could not be more simple.... plug in some of your personal stats/equipment you have available, and it tells you what workouts to do. Over the past year the updates from @keelofit have been robust. They expanded from just shy of 200 workouts to over 400, added new equipment/movements, and even established separate strength and conditioning portions. If you sync the app with your smart watch you will also be able to track your heart rate during your workouts along with the other biometrics that Keelo provides, highlighted by your watts/time tracking. Every workout that I did from last year has had significant improvements in either speed/weight lifted/watts or all three just by following their suggested programming. For those that are unfamiliar with some of the movements keelofit provides excellent how to videos within the app for demonstration. The community is also very quick to give help via twitter/instagram if you use these platforms. I personally have reached out to Keelo via IG and they have always gotten back to me within minutes. Keelo recently added leaderboards for their various workouts which was a welcome addition to see where you rank amongst your peers. The app also provides numerous stretches/warm ups which is a nice addition, but to be honestly i usually just crack my knuckles and start working out. i feel that the only real alternative to using this app would to be going to a local box. For me though, I don’t mind working out on my own, enjoy being able to not be restricted to a class time, and love the convince of not having to leave my home. Also the cost of an average box/month is 100-200$ so this app is a much more affordable option. Unless you absolutely have to go to a local box for your workouts you should be using this app, it is that simple.

    I’ve been using the nike training app for years and never found another app that came close to the quality until Keelo. It’s now my favorite workout app and I use it at least twice a week. The conditioning workouts are my favorite. I like the “today” tab because it includes a warm up, strength and conditioning workouts, and then a stretch after. Combine that with 15 min of cardio and I’m set for the day! The developers are very responsive and fix bugs soon after they’re reported. Keep it up!! One thing I would like to see is stretching routines that you can select from.

    I’m a college student who doesn’t want to pay for a CrossFit gym membership right now. I’ve been doing online WODs at my school gym, but was missing the scheduling and competitive part of crossfit. This app totally helps with that! I love it! It keeps track of your time and lbs. The workouts from start to finish, make me feel like I’m in a CrossFit gym. The strength section pushes me to higher weights, which I really needed. I’m impressed!! I’m going to pay for the three month subscription first. I can’t wait to see the progress.

    For a paid app I'm surprised there isn't much content updates on workouts without any equipment available. For six months straight still nothing on the strength workout other then constantly doing dips. My triceps are going to be huuuuge

    I have tried several apps over the years to keep myself on track and motivated at the gym. If you are looking for that app, then look no further! Keelo has great tracking tools for your progress, workouts and measuring your fatigue/energy usage and heart rate. The workouts all have video demos and explanations of every movement so there’s no guessing if you are doin it correctly. I cannot say enough good things about this app, I love it!

    I have been doing CrossFit for a few years and had to move to my own garage due to a job change. I have used the app for a week but so far it is great. I like how it uses my one rep max to program the percentages for the strength portion and how it takes into consideration recent workouts for today’s workout. Impressed.
